Yesterday, we embarked on a day-trip eastward towards the Cascade Mountains to Wallace Falls State Park in Gold Bar, WA. A great place for a day hike in the mountains with plenty of trees and waterfalls.

The Upper Falls

The Wallace River

This is at the top of The Upper Falls looking almost straight down. Challenging angle on wet rock!

The view we enjoyed during our turkey sandwich lunch break.
