As for the rest of this Friday evening, we headed downtown to a music festival and winded up discovering some new areas of the city.

We spent the afternoon at one of the five Norfolk Beaches. It's about 20 minutes away- not bad. We really enjoyed the beach, much quieter than Virginia Beach. Our little paradise is located right beside the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek.
